August Main Meeting - Treasure Hunt

Manchester WI Treasure Hunt

Tuesday 27 August 6.30pm (gathering from 6.15 onwards)

We’ll be starting at the Emmeline Pankhurst Statue next to St Peter’s Square tram stop. If it’s pouring with rain, the alternative meeting point is just inside the lobby of Central Library, opposite the statue. 

The treasure hunt will be on foot and should take about an hour. Dress for the weather!

You’ll be split into teams of 2-3 people. You will need to use What3Words (app or browser) to look up clue locations and plot them on a map. You will need a pen and may wish to bring a clipboard. 

Once you’ve plotted all your clue locations, plan your route, then visit each location and solve the clue, based on what you can see around you. A tiebreaker is included in case it’s needed!

We’ll be ending at Mackie Mayor, Smithfield Market Hall, 1 Eagle St, Manchester M4 5BU for the answers. You’ll be able to order food and drink on arrival.
