About the Event
We're kicking off the New Year at Craft Club with a crash course in crochet. Intended as an introduction, this session is aimed at crochet newbies and crocheters wishing to dust the cobwebs off their hooks and brush up on the basics. We'll be learning a handful of stitches in order to make a crochet staple: the granny square.
You'll need some yarn (any type - granny squares are a great scrap buster!) and a crochet hook of a suitable size. If you dont know what size hook you need, check the label on your chosen yarn.
As ever, do feel free to join us while getting on with your own crafting - all our members are welcome, whether you’re following along with the monthly make or not!
For security purposes only members of Manchester WI will be admitted to the event.
Craft Club is a sub-group of the Manchester WI, run by its members for its members. Guests are very welcome to come along and see if you would like to join us (we are a very friendly bunch)! You can either come to craft club with your own project (we have knitters who come for a natter) or bring material to join in with our monthly make.
