Joining us on Thursday 21st May is BBC Radio 1 DJ, author and TV presenter Katie Thistleton. Katie is coming to chat about her career as a TV and radio presenter, as well as her work as a mental health ambassador for Young Minds and for children's mental health charity Place2be.
After working as a Researcher for CBeebies, Katie made the leap in front of the camera at the start of 2013 after being headhunted to join the CBBC HQ line-up to host CBBC Presentation 'the bits in between the shows', a role once occupied by the likes of Phillip Schofield and Zoe Ball.
Katie now hosts BBC Radio 1’s weekly show The Surgery with Dr. Radha, and presents Radio 1’s Life Hacks and chart show alongside Cel Spellman.
