Craft Club : Get To Grips With Zips

Get to grips with zips! 

In this meeting Verity is going to show us how to make a basic zippered pouch, perfect for storing all your essentials & using up fabric scraps at the same time. No experience of zips is required!

Equipment:

Sewing machine & zipper foot (zipper feet come as standard with most sewing machines & look like this - check your accessories box)

Alternatively you can hand sew

A closed end zip - we’ll be using 9 inch for the demo

Two outer fabric pieces - 9 inch x 7 inch

Two lining fabric pieces - 9 inch x 7 inch

You can make these in ANY SIZE you want! Just make sure one edge of your fabric is as long as the zipper.
