Craft Club: Paper Flowers

We're stretching out Valentine's Day this year and getting together (virtually) a couple of days later, on the 16th, to craft some paper flowers for our sweethearts, our friends, and ourselves!

To make the flowers, you'll need the following supplies:

Paper or Fabric (eg. crepe, tissue, patterned, wrapping, sweet wrappers)

Tape (eg. floral, washi, masking, fabric, clear)

Adhesives

Tools (eg. scissors, decorative scissors, wire cutters, punches, painting tools, pencils)

Paints & Colouring

Stems (eg. wire, twigs, skewers, paper straws, pipe cleaners, wooden dowels)

Centers (eg. cotton wool, round beads, buttons, pom-poms, balls / half rounds / buds, pips, string, foil, thread, cord, wool, tinsel)

Other materials you might wish to incorporate (eg. doilies, coffee filters, fabric, netting, ribbon)

As ever, do feel free to join us while getting on with your own crafting - all our members are welcome, whether you’re following along with the monthly make or not!

For security purposes only members of Manchester WI will be admitted to the event.

Craft Club is a sub-group of the Manchester WI, run by its members for its members. Guests are very welcome to come along and see if you would like to join us (we are a very friendly bunch)! You can either come to craft club with your own project (we have knitters who come for a natter) or bring material to join in with our monthly make.
