Ladyskillers: Self Defence Class

This self defence class will run in person at the Marksman Martial Arts Dojo, Ashton-under-Lyne.

Over the course of 3 hours Mark from Marksman Martial Arts will take you through self defence techniques to keep you safe in a variety of situations. You’ll work through raising your own awareness of situations where you may need to defend yourself as well as a range of techniques to equip you to do so, whilst prioritising your own safety.

This event will be held in person at the Marksman Martial Arts Dojo, Ashton-under-Lyne. The venue is up one flight of stairs without a lift.

The dojo is a 4 minute walk from Ashton-Under-Lyne interchange with a tram stop and bus station, a 9 minute walk from Ashton-Under-Lyne train station, and there is street parking outside the dojo.

We recommend you wear loose clothes you can move about in; the class will be physical but will be tailored to suit everyone’s abilities.

This event is open to guests, so you do not have to be a member of Manchester WI to sign up.
