Walk for Women - International Women's Day 2023

We are very excited to once again be part of Manchester City Council's International Women's Day celebrations.

We will be joining the Walk for Women is a recognised women's organisation in Manchester, and as a recipient of IWD funding from the council! The walk aims to bring people together to share a passion for equality and creating opportunities for Manchester women.

The start of the march is at Manchester Cathedral. As a WI, we will be congregating near to the entrance of Cafe 1881 (opposite the cathedral) and will try to be super visible with our banner so that you can find us!

This walk is an opportunity to come together with family and friends, so feel free to bring people along with you. Also, feel free to bring placards/banners, as well as 'fun, safe and noisy instruments to band and clang'.
